Whether you are seeking contemplative quiet to process and heal personal or family trauma, to gather with your family to celebrate life’s passages, or to expand collaborative innovation processes within your organization, Green Terra nurtures the emerging truth of life’s cycles.

Individual Retreats
Green Terra Sanctuary will be available to individuals for short stay personal retreats. Examples of usage might include short sabbaticals for spiritual leaders, writing retreats, a week of silence, and engaging in contemplative practices in nature. Spiritual direction can be available if requested.

Family Respite Retreats
The Sanctuary can be booked by families who have experienced tragedies. Examples include the loss of a child or parent, or as a place to begin restoration following recovery from life threatening illnesses.

Spiritual Group Retreats
Over the course of each year, a variety of weekend and week long retreats with programming in some aspect of contemplative practices will be offered. Please see the calendar for current offerings.

Hospice Family Respite
In support of Beaver Island’s in-home hospice program, Green Terra Sanctuary provides accommodations for family members during the time of their loved one’s transition.
